Recently, a lovely friend of mine commissioned me to bake some goodies as party favors for a bridal shower she was throwing. It was being held at a tea room, and she wanted cookies appropriate for both the location and the purple color scheme, as well as the gift containers, so we decided on biscotti and decorated sugar cookies.
I used this recipe for the sugar cookies and frosting, and this one for the biscotti. I think these look pretty spectacular, if I do say so myself. I can’t get enough of that jacaranda purple. (I might have had too much fun taking pictures of them…)
And how much is the cuteness enhanced with these paper teacups she found to house them?
These were custom ordered from a shop on Etsy called Sweeties. Look at the detail on the gift tag and in the flower adornment. Just amazing. (Note- I didn’t take pictures with the biscotti because it was super crumbly and messy! Plus, you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.)
