Hello ladies and gentlemen (well, probably just my Mom, hi Mom!), this past weekend I covered my first ever cake in fondant! I’m taking the Wilton Course 3 class, and it’s pretty cool so far. The first week we just learned some more piping techniques, but this past weekend we made the “gift box” cake. I was super excited and wanted to share! I did some other baking this weekend, just don’t have time to write about it just now, so I hope this will tide you over until I can share my yummy Lemon Glazed Cookie recipe 
I made a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, fondant, and black raspberry filling.
You can see what the inside looked like too The bow deflated from the heat, but it didn’t affect the taste!
